Mini Musos

Young children and their mums or caregivers enjoying music, rhyme, rhythm, creative dance and more.

The aim of St Mike's Mini Musos is to provide an environment where young children have fun and learn through the use of music, stories, dance, and other activities with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver

There is an opportunity for parents to network with other parents of young children, to build community and support each other through the joys and challenges of parenting preschoolers.

We also celebrate special events like Christmas and Easter, mother's and father's day.

In short, St Mike's Mini Musos is an opportunity for adults and young children to build memories and spend time together, sharing special time with each other.

At St Michael's, Mini Musos meets in the church hall from 9:30 till 11:00 every Thursday during school term.

New children and caregivers are always welcome - we'd love to see you there.

What to expect?

Each week, parents and caregivers bring their children for a thirty-minute session of music, stories, dance movement, listening and more. The adults must participate in the session, and in fact, it is vital that they do so, because this encourages the children to enter into the actions and singing.

At the end of the half hour session, adults and children are given snacks and refreshments. This allows time for children to enjoy each others company, and to develop social skills. It also allows adults to socialise and support each other. There is the chance to share concerns with a listening ear, and to build community together.
