Holy Week & Easter at home

This year our journey through Holy Week to the Cross on Good Friday, and on to the empty tomb of Resurrection Sunday, can't help but be different, as we remain in our homes due to Covid-19. On this page you'll find a variety of resources to help you walk closely with Jesus this Holy Week. May we enter deeply into Christ's suffering and death, and his rising again, even as we sit with and pray for those suffering in our world because of this pandemic. May we hold onto the hope we are given that nothing in this world, neither death nor life, can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday we join the diocesan livestreamed service again and afterwards gather together for morning tea on zoom. Contact the vicar if you would like to join us on zoom for morning tea.

You might like to make a palm cross, or add some greenery to your windows or mailbox, or to chalk Hosanna on your pathway.

You might enjoy listening to this playlist, while you read the passion story from Matthew 26:14-27:end, or while you walk in your neighbourhood.

Sunday evening at 7.30pm we will offer a guided time of quiet prayer on zoom - contact the vicar for the link
