Welcome to our Vision Series! Over the next six weeks, we are taking the time during our Sunday services to explore what adventures God might be calling us to in the future. On this page, you will find more information about this process, and how to take part if you are avoiding gatherings due to Covid-19.

Why are we having a Vision Series?

The aim of the vision series is to help us as the St Michael's family discover some things about ourselves, our community, and about what God is inviting us to do.

Everybody's voice matters, whether you've been part of the St Michael's family for years or have just joined us.

We encourage you to prayerfully and fully commit to this series, no matter where you are on your journey with Jesus. We know that the body of Christ is made up of many parts, and our discernment will be so much stronger when we hear from one another.

Vision at Home

If you are choosing to avoid gatherings at the moment, we have prepared a Vision at Home pack for you to work through so that we can still hear from you. You can either complete this online through the form below, or request a paper copy which we will collect from you once it's complete.

Either way, we would love to meet with you, either in person or over the phone/Zoom to kick this off and explain how the material works. If you are continuing to stay at home, please can you email vicar@smn.org.nz to book in a time to do this, or give us a ring directly (Rebecca on 021 0869 9235 or Richard on 021 0200 7113).

We will make each week’s teaching available online, one at a time, so that we’re all working at the same pace. You will need to allow at least half an hour to complete this each week.

If you have others in your house, you may wish to include their perspectives as you work through the series - in fact this is encouraged! Equally, if you feel comfortable gathering in a smaller group, you may wish to work with a friend from the parish.

Vision Online

The online version of the forms will be released every weekend. In many ways the most important aspect of this is the parish survey, so please complete this even if you are not able to complete anything else.
